Creative Look vs Picture Profile vs Creative Style
On Sony Alpha cameras, Creative Look is the finished in-camera color for SOOC JPEG and video (ten bases plus eight sliders); Picture Profile is the gamma/color-mode menu for footage you will grade (S-Cinetone, S-Log3, HLG); Creative Style is the older stills menu on bodies like the A7 III and A6400, with no Fade slider. Recipes on this site are Creative Look cards and will not type into Picture Profile or Creative Style.

On an A7 IV the two color menus sit next to each other. They look like the same job. They are not. We spent a weekend building JPEG recipes inside Picture Profile before noticing Fade does not exist there.
Three menus, three jobs
Creative Look is the in-camera finish for stills and video: Contrast, Highlights, Shadows, Fade, Saturation, Sharpness, Sharpness Range, Clarity. That is what the cards on this site are. On newer bodies it replaced Creative Style.
Picture Profile is still there. S-Cinetone, S-Log3, HLG live in PP. That is footage you plan to grade. We do not publish PP recipes. If a PDF asks for Gamma and Color Mode, you are in the wrong article.
S-Cinetone is a Picture Profile gamma. Nice for SOOC video. It is not a Creative Look, and it is not on this menu.

Which cameras have Creative Look
Look shipped first on the A7S III (2020). The body people actually search is the A7 IV. Also: A7C II, A7CR, A7R V, A7 V, A1 / A1 II, A9 III, A6700, ZV-E10 II, ZV-E1, FX3, FX30, FX2, RX1R III. Newest of those add FL2 and FL3.
Not Creative Look: A7 III, first-generation A7C, A6400, A6600, A6100, ZV-E10 I. Those stills cameras use Creative Style. You can get a film-ish JPEG there, but our cards will not type in — there is no Fade.
What I leave on the camera
For walking around I keep Creative Look FL on Memory Recall. If the job will be graded I switch to Picture Profile — S-Log or S-Cinetone. Same body, two jobs. Creators’ App is the right place for Sony’s own named Looks. The cards here are the other pile: FL numbers from people who shoot JPEG.
Lightroom will not show those eight sliders on the RAW. The Look is in the JPEG. Imaging Edge Edit can put a Creative Look back on a Sony RAW; that is a desktop step, not this menu.
