Read the Creative Look from a Sony photo
The photo stays in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
On iPhone, Photos may strip camera data. If the read fails, pick the original from the Files app.
How to use it
- 1Use a camera-original JPEG, HEIF, or ARW. A file exported by Lightroom usually has no MakerNote.
- 2Drop it here. Reading stays on this device.
- 3Copy the settings, save them as a recipe, or open AlphaLuma to write them over USB or Wi-Fi.

Questions
Which Sony cameras can this read?
Bodies with the Creative Look menu, listed on this page. Older Creative Style bodies return contrast, saturation, and sharpness only.
Why are there no settings?
Screenshots and photos saved from chat or social apps usually have the camera data removed. Use the original file.
Does it read ARW and HIF?
Yes. JPEG, HEIF, and ARW are read locally. If an ARW header has no MakerNote, use the JPEG shot beside it.
Is the photo uploaded?
No. GPS and the body serial number are not shown. Saving a recipe or using the photo as a sample is a separate step you start yourself.
Can I read someone else’s photo?
Only when the file still has the camera data. A compressed download usually does not.
How do I put this into the camera?
Type the values in the Creative Look menu, or import them with AlphaLuma over USB or Wi-Fi. This page does not write to the camera.
How is Creative Look different from Picture Profile?
Creative Look replaced Creative Style for stills. Picture Profile is a separate menu. A Picture Profile photo does not carry Creative Look sliders.
Privacy
The file is read in memory and dropped when you leave. Events record the camera model and the look, never the file name or location.
